    Hello, my name is Melissa and I am Dr. Amburgey’s Business Administrator. Elizabethton, Tennessee is where I have called home my entire life. I attended Hampton High School and graduated in May 1981. After graduation I attended Herman Robinson Vocational School where I received a certificate in Office Management. The Lord has blessed me with two wonderful and beautiful children. Tanika, my daughter, born January 9, 1982 and my son Lucas, born April 4, 1990.  In January 2010 the Lord blessed me again, with my first grandchild, Lyla Gail Hardin.  She is the joy of my life.

    As a member of Dr. Amburgey’s team, I will always strive to be knowledgeable and interested in our patients needs and well-being. Attending continuing educational classes throughout the year helps me stay updated with the constantly changing aspects of our dental office.

    I am here to assist you with scheduling appointments both in our office and with any specialists you may need to see. I will also try to help with any financial questions or with any insurance filing problems or questions that may arise.
