    Hello, I am Jessica, one of Dr. Amburgey’s hygienists. I was born and raised in Carter County and attended Hampton High School from 1993 to 1997. After graduation I attended Northeast State Community College for one year and then entered the Dental Assisting Program at ETSU. After working for a year as a dental assistant, I applied and was accepted into the dental hygiene program at ETSU. I am proud to say that I graduated from that program with honors in May 2002 . My husband and I were married on May 22, 1999 and on September 24, 2004 we were blessed with our beautiful baby boy Cadon Andrew Buckles.

    My professional goal is to always be patient centered, carefully listening and discovering each patient’s dental concerns and wants for their teeth and smile. As a member of Dr. Amburgey’s team I am determined to provide the very best patient care possible and contribute to each and every patient’s needs and overall goals. I will always strive to give each patient my very best, whether it is with my clinical skills, learning new technology and ideas or educating them concerning their dental health.

    I am both proud and excited to have an opportunity to work in Dr. Amburgey’s practice. I will dedicate myself to giving each and every patient the care and attention needed to attain their dental goals. I look forward to meeting and working closely with our patients. Hopefully, through years of follow-up, each patient’s hygiene and self-esteem will be better than when they began. I know that Dr. Amburgey and the rest of the team will become not only your friend, but also a your family away from home. I hope you will give me the opportunity to be involved in helping you create and maintain a beautiful and healthy smile.
